Haneen Alqunaibit
Haneen AlQunaibit, the founder of Amarin Jewels by Haneen, started her career early after graduating her Bachelor’s Degree from AlYamamah University – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She joined the banking sector for a little over five years. Leaving her position as a Section Manager at the end of 2016 to pursue a career in the jewelry industry, to join the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to learn and have a concrete knowledge, base and understanding of the world she is most passionate about. After taking several programs there, she moved to New York City and joined GIA New York City Campus there to finish her design courses and programs.
She was awarder the first place for the Students’ Choice Award for a jewelry design. The Design was one of the finalist designs running for Gianmari Buccellati Foundation Awards 2018 in Tucson, Arizona.
Haneen is not only an expert in gems and diamonds, however, a jeweler herself, which gives a higher understanding of quality and gives her the infinite possibilities of creating designs outside the box. Designing and creating fun pieces, with high aesthetics and beauty. As now she has applied for a clasp mechanism patent in which is pending in the State of New Yourk
